Brief description
The course consists of two parts:  In-Class and Self-Study.
1. In-class
section
• 5 units of English for International Tourism - Upper-intermediate (Units 1-5)

• Listening exercises - VSTEP-oriented & Vocabulary and Pronunciation
• Communication activities (as instructed by teacher)
2. Self-study section
• Vocabulary List: Students must prepare and follow the teacher's instructions
• Guided Self-Study: Students should complete all modules in practice book - ( Unit 1-5)
• Grammar: students should be well-prepared with grammar topics in textbook.
• Other practice: Follow the teacher's instructions.
3. Student's duties: Attend class regularly and follow school regulations.

• Listening exercises - VSTEP-oriented & Vocabulary and Pronunciation
• Communication activities (as instructed by teacher)
2. Self-study section
• Vocabulary List: Students must prepare and follow the teacher's instructions
• Guided Self-Study: Students should complete all modules in practice book - ( Unit 1-5)

3. Student's duties: Attend class regularly and follow school regulations.

This course develops a basic understanding on the theories, principles, and applications of accounting and financial reporting including topics such as the theory of debit and credit, accounts, special journals, the accounting cycle, notes and interest, accruals and deferrals, cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, and the preparation of financial statements. In general, its primary aim is to provide the basic knowledge in preparing and processing accounting transactions in order to present financial details in a relevant and effective manner, as well as interpreting these accounting information for different types of external and internal investors, management and other accounting information users.

The course is aimed to provide the students with language knowledge in business   in English at an upper-intermediate level and equip them some advanced career-oriented skills such as discussion skills, presentation skills and correspondence writing skills.

            Học phần này được thiết kế với mục tiêu trang bị cho sinh viên những kiến thức ngôn ngữ và kĩ năng giao tiếp ngôn ngữ bằng tiếng Anh trong lĩnh vực như: văn hóa kinh doanh, tuyển dụng và việc làm, quản lý chất lượng sản phẩm, đạo đức kinh doanh …

Học phần này được thiết kế với mục tiêu trang bị cho sinh viên những kiến thức ngôn ngữ và kĩ năng giao tiếp ngôn ngữ (nghe, nói, đọc, viết) bằng tiếng Anh trong lĩnh vực kinh doanh và thương mại.

Aims:

  • Understand the relationship between language, culture and communication;
  • Distinguish some general concepts, models and types of communication;
  • Recognize the meanings in communication, the definitions of a social situation and the goals in a social situation;
  • Be aware of situational schema and different values and non-verbal signals  in communication.
